Everyone ages; movement habits, past surgeries, injuries, and even what we wear have brought us to where our bodies are in this moment. If you have any of the following, no matter what age, this class might be for you:
- achy feet/knees/hips/back
- loss of balance
- inability to spread and/or lift your toes
- leaky pelvic floor (pee when you laugh, sneeze or cough)
- pain or discomfort walking or running
This class is based on the book Dynamic Aging, by Katy Bowman and her four long-time students. You can meet them here or watch this segment from the Today Show. Whatever your age, it’s not too late to get moving and moving more of you.
Each participant will receive a copy of Dynamic Aging and a half cylinder. We’ll cover a couple of chapters each session, and go through some of the exercises in the book. We’ll also go through any questions or concerns you have. The last class will meet at a park for some nature time! Because that’s where we really benefit – where we can use our bodies more like they were designed!
